Meet The Team
Pamela Richardson—President/Contractor/Consultant/L.A. Certified Welder/Educator/Trainer, BSBM, MSEL
Founded in 2020, PMR Associates Welding & Fabrication Inc. combines decades of welding expertise, education, and leadership. Pamela began her career as a structural welder with Local 108 Sheetmetal and holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management, a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and is a CSLB licensed Welding Contractor, holding a C-51 and C-60.
Her vision was to create a business that delivers high-quality, affordable welding services while providing high-wage employment opportunities for her welding students. Today, PMR Associates is a team of skilled welders dedicated to exceptional workmanship and customer service.
Estela Rayas - Office Manager, ASBM/Accounting
Although Estela Rayas's professional background began as a welder in the field for Local 108 Sheet Metal JATC beginning in 1995, Ms. Rayas has evolved into our go to Office Manager by continuing her education. Ms. Rayas holds an Associate's degree in business with emphasis in accounting, certification as a Sales Engineer and expertise in developing important documentation, construction negotiations and accounting.
Clarence Scott- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) ASWT, ASBM
Mr. Scott joined the PMR Associates team as a contracted welding inspector. Mr. Scott's inspection knowledge in NDT and DT processes, 20 years of field experience working in oil refineries, construction sites, and maritime environments, and knowledge of ISO-9001 requirements made it a win-win for our team. He holds an associate's degree in business management and an associate's degree in welding technology. American Welding Society certification as an inspector and is certified as a Level II NACE Coating Inspector. Mr. Scott also has hands-on experience welding utilizing processes such as SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW plate and pipe.
