Pamela Richardson—President/Contractor/Consultant/L.A. Certified Welder/Educator/Trainer, BSBM, MSEL
PMR Associates Welding & Fabrication Inc was founded in 2020, by Pamela Richardson. In her early beginnings, Ms. Richardson was a structural welder in the field starting out as a welder for Local 108 Sheetmetal. With over 30 years of combined experience in the welding /education industries, a combination welder, a bachelor's in business management, master's in educational leadership and licensed as a Welding Contractor, Ms. Richardson set out to create a business that would create high wage employment for her welding students while also providing high-quality welding services at affordable prices. Today, PMR Associates Welding & Fabrication Inc has developed into a team of expert welders who are dedicated to delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service.
Estela Rayas - Office Manager, ASBM/Accounting
Although Estela Rayas's professional background began as a welder in the field for Local 108 Sheet Metal JATC beginning in 1995, Ms. Rayas has evolved into our go to Office Manager by continuing her education. Ms. Rayas holds an Associate's degree in business with emphasis in accounting, certification as a Sales Engineer and expertise in developing important documentation, construction negotiations and accounting.
Clarence Scott- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) ASWT, ASBM
Mr. Scott joined the PMR Associates team as a contracted welding inspector. Mr. Scott's inspection knowledge in NDT and DT processes, 20 years of field experience working in oil refineries, construction sites, and maritime environments, and knowledge of ISO-9001 requirements made it a win-win for our team. He holds an associate's degree in business management and an associate's degree in welding technology. American Welding Society certification as an inspector and is certified as a Level II NACE Coating Inspector. Mr. Scott also has hands-on experience welding utilizing processes such as SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW plate and pipe.
