Social Enterprise & Workforce Commitment

PMR Associates Welding & Fabrication Inc, is a mission-driven business operating as a social enterprise. While the company is in a pre-hire phase and has not yet employed staff, PMR Associates has adopted a formal Workforce Commitment Policy. Upon contract award or project initiation, the company will make good-faith efforts to ensure that at least fifty percent (50%) of employment and paid training opportunities are offered to underemployed or hard-to-employ individuals, consistent with business needs and safety requirements.

Target populations may include, but are not limited to:

• Individuals experiencing long-term unemployment or underemployment
   
• Students or recent graduates of workforce training or vocational education programs
   

PMR Associates integrates workforce development into its operating model by:

• Providing hands-on welding and fabrication training aligned with industry standards
   
• Preparing individuals for industry-recognized certifications and structural steel examinations
   
• Partnering with educational institutions, workforce programs, and community-based organizations
   
• Offering paid, transitional, or entry-level opportunities as contracts and projects allow
   

This commitment is activated upon contract award or project initiation when hiring or paid training opportunities are created. PMR Associates will track workforce participation through internal hiring records and training documentation to demonstrate good-faith compliance with this policy.
